Genis Steel and FDC Construction & Fitout – a leading Australian building delivery partner – first started working together in Victoria, when we supplied steel and rigging services for some of FDC’s smaller (40 t) office development projects.

As FDC got to know our work, our team and our shared ‘people first’ culture, we became a trusted partner and the Lot 1. 535 Troups Rd warehouse development project was born.

We fabricated and erected more than a thousand tonnes of steel for this warehouse project in just over three months and we made it our mission to smooth the way for our client throughout the build.

Our quick and precise shop-drawing process got the project off to a flying start and our clear, staged project plan helped FDC to easily coordinate other services onsite and run a seamless build for everyone.

Regular face-to-face meetings were an important part of the project, as they are for all of our projects, and we value this personal touch as much as our clients.
