Peninsula Link

Peninsula Link is a vital piece of Victoria’s transport infrastructure; a 27-kilometre, four-lane motorway connecting the Frankston Freeway–EastLink interchange at Carrum Downs to the Mornington Peninsula Freeway at Mount Martha.

Designed to improve connectivity, reduce travel times and support economic growth across Melbourne’s south-east and the Mornington Peninsula, Peninsula Link opened to traffic in early 2013 as part of a public-private partnership delivered by the Southern Way consortium.

As part of this major civil infrastructure program, Genis Steel contributed specialised structural steelwork supply and fabrication services to support the project’s construction needs.

Working from our Melbourne fabrication facility, the Genis Steel Victoria team provided high-quality steel components that met stringent specification, compliance and durability requirements typical of major transport infrastructure projects.
